Research & Communications, Reforest’Action, Paris
Nicolas Blain holds a Master’s degree in International Law and began his career working for the UN in the Congo, protecting the rights of indigenous people and forests. During a thesis on the impact of climate change on peace in Africa, Nicolas discovered the power of trees and joined Reforest'Action in 2013, convinced that forests will play an essential role in combating climate change and erosion biodiversity. In this role, he supports partner companies in their communication and develops national initiatives. At the same time, Nicolas produces documents on the forest and its diversity, such as the "Notre Avenir S’appelle Forêt" report, dedicated to the multifunctionality of the French forests that face climate challenges. In 7 years, Nicolas has actively contributed to making Reforest’Action one of the main reforestation organizations in France and in the world.
