Romain Le Guillou, Vineyard & Grape Supply Director, Veuve Clicquot, Reims
Romain graduated in Agronomy and Oenology in 2007 before starting his career in the French region of Beaujolais as Viticulture and Oenology Advisor, supporting local winemakers. At the end of 2010, he joins Maison Veuve Clicquot where he leads technical development policies throughout the Maison’s 325-hectare vineyard. An environmental focus is also a major objective at that time, one which permeates the viticultural practices of Veuve Clicquot. At the beginning of 2017, he becomes Vineyard Director and since early 2020 also manages the Head of Supply. Romain and his teams aim to produce premium quality grapes that reflect their terroir, while preserving the environment and the health of winemakers.
